Organiser Terms

Version organiser-terms-2026-10 · Last updated: 30 October 2026

These terms apply when you create or run a league on ScorePuppy. In them, "we" and "ScorePuppy" mean BraindAI Pty Ltd (ABN 61 701 238 968), Australia, and "you" means the person who creates or runs the league (the owner, and any moderators, captains or team managers you appoint). They sit alongside the ScorePuppy Terms of Use and Privacy Policy, which also apply.

1. Your league, your responsibility

Who can run a league. You must be 18 or over to create or own a league, or to be one of its moderators, captains or team managers. These roles need a ScorePuppy account and give access to other people's personal information, and the owner accepts these terms.

For a junior, school or youth league, a parent, coach or teacher creates and owns the league; the Free plan is enough to run it. Younger people can still help the adult run it: for example, they can tell the adult the results to enter, or (with Club or Club Pro) run the scoreboard on a screen with the league's scoreboard code, which needs no account and never changes the league's results. They don't get an account or staff access, and they don't see other people's personal information.

Your responsibility. ScorePuppy is a tool. It lets you organise teams, fixtures, scores, statistics, payments and announcements for your league. You decide how the league is run and how the tool is used. We don't supervise leagues, check who joins, or verify what you enter. That means you are responsible for:

2. Players' personal information

For the information about your players, your league decides what goes in and how it's used; we hold and process it to provide ScorePuppy for you, under our Privacy Policy.

When you, your staff or players enter names, numbers, photos, stats, availability or payment status, you are collecting personal information about real people. You agree to:

We give you these tools, but you choose how to use them. We are not responsible for how you configure or use them, or for what you or your staff publish.

3. Players under 18

When you create a league you choose its youngest age group. If the league includes players under 18:

4. What you must not do

Don't use ScorePuppy to:

Child safety. If your league includes under-18s, you are responsible for the child-safety rules where you play, including Working With Children (or similar) checks for coaches, officials and volunteers, and your club's or sport's safeguarding policy. ScorePuppy has no chat or private messaging, which keeps contact with children inside your league's own processes.

We may remove content, suspend a league or close an account that breaks these terms or the law, or that puts people at risk.

5. Fees and payments

League fees, payment links and "I've paid" status are between you and your players. Payments happen outside ScorePuppy, on the website or method you choose. We don't handle that money, and we aren't party to it or responsible for it, including refunds. ScorePuppy plan subscriptions are separate, and are billed by Apple or Google under their terms.

6. Venues, fixtures and results

Venue details, game times, results and statistics are entered by you and your staff. We don't guarantee they're accurate. Notifications and reminders are sent on a best-effort basis; phones, settings and networks can delay or block them. Don't rely on ScorePuppy for anything safety-critical.

7. Our responsibility

We provide ScorePuppy "as is". We work to keep it secure and available, but we don't promise it will always be available or error-free. To the extent the law allows:

Nothing in these terms excludes rights you have under the Australian Consumer Law (or similar laws elsewhere) that can't be excluded.

You agree to cover us for claims made against us by others that arise from how you ran your league or used ScorePuppy in breach of these terms or the law. This includes claims about player information you entered or published.

8. Handing a league over, and when an owner can't be reached

Handing over. The owner can hand the league to someone else in the app (Manage league → Hand over this league): to one of the league's moderators, who accepts, or with a one-time handover code, which the new owner enters and the current owner then approves. Teams, players, games, statistics and staff go with the league. The league's payment link is removed, so players don't keep paying the previous owner; the record of who has paid stays. Plans don't move: a plan belongs to the person who bought it through Apple or Google. If the league needs a paid plan, the new owner takes out their own, and the previous owner cancels theirs in the store if they no longer need it.

Once a year. A league can change owner (by handover or takeover) at most once in 12 months. This stops leagues being passed around to stretch free months. If there's a genuine reason to change sooner, write to hello@scorepuppy.com.

When the owner can't be reached. Owners leave clubs, lose their phones, and sometimes can't respond at all. So that a league isn't stuck, a moderator can ask to take it over in the app. The owner is told by notification and by email and has 30 days to decline, with reminders along the way (after 7, 14 and 21 days, 3 days before the end and on the last day). If they don't, the league moves to that moderator, and the previous owner stays on as a moderator (if the new owner's plan has room). The owner can also approve straight away. By appointing moderators, you agree that they may take over your league in this way if you don't respond. Only appoint people you trust, and remove moderators who no longer help run the league.

If there is no moderator, or something is wrong (for example the owner's account was taken over by someone else): write to hello@scorepuppy.com. We will try to reach the owner by email and, if there is no answer within 30 days, we may pass the league to a person who can show they run it (for example a club committee member or the venue). We may ask for reasonable evidence, and we may refuse a request that looks doubtful.

9. Activity log, undo and the scoreboard

Activity log and undo. ScorePuppy records every change to your league (who, when, and what it was before) for 30 days. The owner and moderators can see it in Manage league → Activity & undo and put the league back as it was, for everyone or for one person's changes, for example if a phone was lost or misused. On the Free plan this puts the whole league back 7 or 30 days (for emergencies; a wrong score is simply corrected in the app); with Club and Club Pro you can also undo a single change, one person's changes, or choose 24 hours, or 2, 5, 7, 14 or 30 days. An undo only affects your league. If something can't be fixed in the app, write to hello@scorepuppy.com and we'll help; we can restore a league's data from the last 30 days, including a deleted league (except information deleted at someone's privacy request, such as a deleted account or a removed child).

Deleting a league. Deleting a league needs a 6-digit code we email to the owner. If it was a mistake, write to hello@scorepuppy.com within 30 days and we can bring it back.

Scoreboard. The scoreboard code shows a scoreboard (score, clock, penalties) on a screen and, from the same page, lets whoever has it run it without an account. It is only a display: it never changes your league's results, games or stats. Give the code only to the people running the board, and make a new one in the app if it has been passed around.

10. Changes and ending

We may update these terms. If the changes are significant, we'll tell you in the app, and you may need to accept the new version to keep creating or running leagues. You can stop using ScorePuppy at any time and delete your account in the app. Leagues you own are then handed to a moderator, or deleted if there isn't one.

11. Law

These terms are governed by the laws of New South Wales, Australia.
